Govt. Unani and Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital

The Government Unani and Ayurvedic Degree College and Hospital (in Bangladesh) is a graduate, non-profit medical university, and associated hospital, located in mirpur-13, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 1989. This college is under the medical faculty of Dhaka University. DU gives BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery) and BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) degree for student. The college syllabus is same as MBBS except medicinal subject.

The college has an academic building, a hospital, two student’s hall (one for male and others is female), Anatomy Museum, Pathology Practical Lab, Three Medicinal Plants Garden, Air-conditioned Library, College Student Council, College Central Mosque, Hospital including 100 Beds, Drug Production House etc.

After completing BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery) and BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) degree a person can apply in BCS. If he wishes he can practice. If he wishes he can study more in related category or others.
